This is a reminder that at 12 noon this Thursday, November 21, Infopeople
will present a one-hour Webcast by Mary Minow on "Digital Reference: Legal
Issues."
This Webcast is free and available to anyone with a Web browser and either
Real Player or Windows Media Player. For a description of the Webcast, go
to the Infopeople Webcast Program Guide at
http://www.infopeople.org/training/webcasts/program_guide.html.
You must register in order to access the Webcast. To register, click on the
"Register for webcast" link in the program guide.
Complete Webcast instructions are available at

repeated below for your convenience.
Step-by-Step Instructions for Viewing an Infopeople Webcast
Several days before the event:
1.Go to the Infopeople Webcast program guide and click on the title link
for the upcoming Webcast. Complete the brief registration process.
2.Test your computer to determine whether you are set up properly for the
Webcast, by clicking on the link labeled "Test Your System".
NOTE: To participate, we recommend you have Internet access at 56k or
higher. You also will need either RealPlayer or Windows Media Player
software installed on your computer. Both free downloads are also available
through the test link.
Ten minutes before the scheduled time of the Webcast:
1.Go to the Infopeople Webcast program guide and click on the title link
for the upcoming Webcast. If you've already registered, you need only
provide your email address to gain access.
2.Choose your desired viewing software, either Windows Media Player or Real
Player.
3.Choose the bitrate that most closely matches your Internet connection
speed. If you have a slow-speed modem, or find the quality of the video
unsatisfactory, we have also provided an audio-only connection as an
alternative.
4.If you want to pose a question to the presenter during the live Webcast,
click on "Ask a Question".
5.If you have difficulties, click on "Troubleshooting FAQs"
6.After viewing the Webcast, please click on "Take Our Survey" and complete
the brief evaluation.
NOTE TO MAC USERS: Often a Macintosh user cannot view a player that has
been embedded into a Web page. To view the media, click on the "Launch
External Player" link.
