Subject: Summer Library Volunteers in Honduras & Guatemala

Below is an announcement I am posting for World Library Partnership. I am a
former volunteer (in South Africa) and a current board member. Please feel
free to contact me with questions. It's a great opportunity.

Volunteer at a Library in Central America

If you love books and reading, consider spending the summer of 2003 helping
communities gain access to the information they need to build a better
future. As part of the Inform the World Library Skills Exchange (ITW), you
will provide hands-on assistance and training to rural librarians in
Honduras or Guatemala. This program is a unique opportunity to share your
skills while experiencing another culture. Strong conversational Spanish is
required. Please see worldlibraries.org <http://worldlibraries.org/> for
complete trip information. We hope you will join us for this exciting
service project!
