 According to today's SF Gate (online Chroniclea) column "Unemployed? Use the down time to jumpstart your new life," by Gina Arnold: ..."One can take classes at any of a host of institutions, ranging from relatively inexpensive City College, San Francisco State University Extension and UC Berkeley Extension -- where one can get certified in proto-professional skills such as project management and library science -- to expensive but useful organizations such as AcademyX and the Center for Electronic Arts, where complex new computer skills are taught, to more esoteric places such as the Bay Area Video Coalition, which offer video-production and filmmaking classes."...
