Contact the Civic Center Library in Marin County - Reference: (415)
499-6058. Volunteers index the newspaper by subject -- using index cards,
the last time I checked!! The reference librarian can look up a topic for
you.

I am trying to find a way to search the content of the Marin Independent
Journal between the years of 1997-2002. I looked at Ulrich's and didn't
find an entry for this newspaper. The products I have looked at are
NewsBank, Factiva, LexisNexis, and Proquest, and none of them index the
newspaper during that time. There seems to be this gap of 5 years for some
reason. I called the newspaper directly and they only offer online
searching back one year. Any suggestions?
