ERIC Update In January 2004, the U.S. Department of Education began to implement a reengineering plan for the Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC). GPO to begin Authentication of Government Documents By mid-summer, the Government Printing Office will authenticate government documents using a public-key infrastructure and digital signatures.
