This will take place on Saturday at the SLA conference in Toronto.
The Solo Librarian Division is sponsoring a full-day CE course "Getting
Your Message Across." This class will enable you to be a more effective
presenter. You will leave this class with increased confidence in your
skills and abilities as a presentor. Understanding your audience,
learning customizing techniques and how to deal with a difficult
audience are just a few of the skills you will come away with.

helen ann brown, a medical librarian has taught this class at MLA and
in many other settings. Audience reaction has been positive and
enthusiastic.
