Thanks to everyone who replied.
I found what I needed at the Oakland Public Library in the Periodicals
Room. Only one book, 1992, had some pages torn out and the San Leandro
Library was able to fill that gap. They also have an excellent collection
of Oakland phone books because San Leandro listings are in the Oakland book.
