Pam Rollo

has recently returned to public librarianship as the
business Development officer and Manager for NYPL
Express, the fee for service business of The New York
Public Library. Prior to that Pam worked for
LexisNexis as Vice President for Primary Accounts.

The majority of Pam's career so far has been spent
with Credit Suisse First Boston, a global investment
bank where she created and deployed policy for the
firm's libraries located in New York, London, Toronto,
Tokyo, Hong Kong, Sydney and Auckland. In this
position, as Director, Information Resources, she
collaborated with IT, Legal, Banking, Trading and
Operations professionals. She has also managed
research for executive recruiting.

Pam is the current President of the Special Libraries
Association, the global professional association for
information professionals serving specific audiences.
She has been a speaker on contract management and
budgeting during SLA and EBIC conferences (European
Business Information Conference). She has also guest
lectured on e-commerce at the Zicklin School of Baruch
College.

Pam also serves as an adjunct professor teaching
management of special libraries, online business
searching and business reference sources to graduate
students at three of the Universities offering
graduate library degrees located in and around New
York City. She has provided consulting services for
both information vendors and libraries through her
business, Collaborative Consultations, Inc. Her MS
degree in Library Service was conferred by Columbia
University in New York City.

7:15-7:45 Chapter business & announcements.
7:45-8:30 Speaker presentation.

Directions:

From 101, take the San Francisco International Airport
exit to the International Terminal Departure Level and
follow the signs to "Hourly Parking". The garage will
be to your right.
 
Go to Level 8 of the Garage and park anywhere near the
AirTrain Station.

Take the "Blue Line" to the International Terminal
which is the next stop.

Exit the train to your right and take the escalator
down to the Departures Level (one level below
AirTrain) of the International Terminal.

The Museum will be to your right as you get off the
escalator.

Parking Information:

A parking package will be purchased by SLA based on
the number of people who will need validation - you
will not have to pay for parking. Please indicate in
your registration if you will require a parking pass.

Please register early, space is limited.
