In case you are wondering why Michele prefaced her subject line with
WC, it's because she belongs to AIIP (Assoc of Independent
Information Professionals). I do too.

There is a lot of traffic on AIIP-L's listserv so there are etiquette
rules. Posters to AIIP-L are encouraged to use prefixes, such as WC
to indicate the content of their message. WC stands for Water Cooler.
There are other prefixes such as TECH and SS (for Search Strategy).
I've often thought that WC would be a good prefix for the SF-SLA
discussion list as well so we can share things that might not be in
the infopro /librarian mainstream. For example, I know y'all are a
great source of information on good books to read and I'd like to
hear what you are reading and why. That might be a good WC to kick
off.
