Mona Rusk is still with SBC...and I seem to remember that Berkeley Public Library had phone books from many areas - not just Berkeley.

Cheers!

Does SBC still have librarians? Sure they do...in Texas! :-(

Phil doesn't seem to be subscribed to the list nor his he a current
member of SLA (according to the online SLA directory).
I cannot find any members from SBC either. Wonder if they still have
  librarians.
  Thanks,

I wonder if he reads this list?

SBC pretty much does not keep old phone books - as far as I know, they
  are
only interested in current data. Oakland Public Library Main Branch is
likely to have them (in print). I worked there for a while, and they
  tried
to keep an ongoing phone book collection, from all over the world,
  actually....
