Challenge a group to send a 4 digit pin number (with digita between 0 and 9) across a room using only signals sent along a stretched spring.
Use the ruler and masking tape as necessary.

Try to find a way to do it as an analog signal and as a digital signal.

What's going on?

Discuss the accuracy versus speed of transmission for the numbers you sent by each technique.

Compare the problems you encountered with analog and with the digital signal transmission.
