Light and Color

 

Without a human eye and brain there is no color.

The spectrum of color.

Project a Spectrum, Use an overhead projector to project a spectrum of light onto a screen.

Use the projected spectrum to explore the workings of colored filters.

Look at colored images through red and green filters.

Play with light reflected from a compact disk.

Introduction to compact disks and diffraction.

Examine light with a spectrometer made from a compact disk.

Colored Shadows, look at shadows made by red green and blue lamps.

 

Image making with a mirror.

Find images using a large mirror.
